Unlike all other planers, the Festool EHL 65 E Planer has a spiral blade. This has many unique benefits.

The blade is not set against work-piece simultaneously across the entire width of the cut (chopping cut). Instead the blade is drawn across the work piece at an angle and cuts more gently into the work piece (drawing cut). This results in lower noise emissions and a perfect finish.

Non-tiring working during fitting work thanks to its light weight which is up to 30% lighter than comparable planers.

Time-saving blade change thanks to unique spiral planer blade with no gap adjustment.

The extraction unit connection which is fitted as standard to this Festool planer means that time-consuming cleaning is not necessary. The chip ejection unit can be connected to the right or the left.
